MEET SHARON CLINE — Creator • Host • Producer • Rider
History Hwy is an original media series where history hits the road—literally. I ride my motorcycle into towns across America, uncovering the real stories, people and places that shaped them. From roadside landmarks to whispered local legends, I share the soul of each stop through videos, interviews and inspiration that bring the past to life in a fresh, accessible way. There’s no one else out there in America making content quite like this.
But this isn’t just about motorcycles and history—it’s about finding the joy in the imperfect, humanity in the forgotten and the sacred in us all.
So hop on—there’s always room on this highway for one more story-seeker.

MEET SHARON
I’m Sharon Cline — a journalist, researcher, producer, on-camera host and lifelong storyteller who happens to do some of my best exploring from the seat of a motorcycle.
For more than a decade, I worked in research and media at CNN, digging through history, news archives and visual collections to find the people, moments and footage that help tell a story accurately and powerfully. That experience taught me something I’ve carried into History Hwy: some of the best stories aren't the obvious ones. You have to be curious enough to go looking for them.
So that's what I'm doing.
I created History Hwy to combine the things I love most — history, travel, motorcycles, people and storytelling. I ride to historic places, back roads, small towns and unexpected destinations, talk to the people I meet there, research the history, and bring the audience along for the discovery.
And I really do bring them along. I research, host, interview, shoot, produce and edit my own stories, which allows History Hwy to stay personal, spontaneous and genuinely curious.
My professional background also includes on-camera work, interviewing, hosting, acting and voiceover — including work for national brands such as Harley-Davidson, Delta and DIRECTV.
But History Hwy isn't really about me.
It's about what we might find when we get off the interstate, pay attention to the places we're passing, and become curious about the people who were here before us.
There are extraordinary stories hiding in ordinary places.
I just happen to arrive on a motorcycle.
Past meets pavement.

Got a town I should visit? Or a story I need to hear? Or just want to say hey?
Don’t be shy—kick up some dust and send a message my way. I’m always down to make a new stop on this highway of history.
